Bespoke & Custom
From brief to loom to delivery.
Most of what we make is made to order. A bespoke commission follows six stages, each with an indicative timeline, so you can plan an installation date before the first knot is tied.

01
Brief
Week 0
You send us the room: dimensions, floor finish, palette references, and anything the rug must live alongside. A floor plan is ideal; a phone photograph is enough to begin.
02
Design & colour matching
Weeks 1–2
We prepare the design in your exact size, and match colours against physical references, a fabric swatch, a paint chip, a stone sample. You approve a rendered artwork before anything is dyed.
03
Sampling
Weeks 2–5
A hand-made strike-off sample, typically 30 × 30 cm, in the approved construction and colourways. It ships to you or your client. Nothing proceeds to the loom until the sample is signed off.
04
On the loom
Weeks 5–13
The rug is woven on a single loom by one weaving team, start to finish. We photograph progress at agreed intervals so you are never guessing where your piece is.
05
Finishing
Weeks 13–15
Washing, clipping, stretching and final inspection. Every rug is checked against the approved artwork for size, colour and construction before it is rolled.
06
Delivery
Weeks 15–16
Rolled, wrapped and shipped with tracking, door-to-door where terms allow. We hold production records so an identical piece, or a replacement section, can be rewoven years later.
Any size
From runners to pieces over 12 × 18 ft. Irregular shapes, curves, cut-outs for hearths and columns, are quoted case by case.
Any colour
We match to physical references, not screen values. Send a swatch and we dye to it, with a strike-off for approval.
Your design or ours
We weave from your CAD file or artwork, adapt a piece from our collections, or design from a brief.
Send us the room, and we will send back a plan, sizes, colours, timeline and cost.
